We have tested this machine for DVD recording from a home-recorded VHS video tape and it works perfectly!

Includes the remote control with new batteries. The remote is essential for being able to navigate the menus to finalize a DVD so you can play them on any machine. Also includes an HDMI Cable, A/V Cable, 2 blank DVD-R Discs, and a printed instruction manual.

Panasonic model DMR-EZ48V originally did not include an HDMI cable, DMR-EZ485V did include one. The two models are otherwise 100% identical.
