The DVD side is a recorder which is great for transferring your old VHS tapes to DVD.
Includes the original remote with new batteries. The remote is essential for being able to navigate the menus to finalize a DVD so you can play them on any machine. Also includes a new A/V Cable, 2 blank DVD-R Disks, and a pdf Instruction Manual on USB thumb drive.
We have tested this machine for DVD recording from a home-recorded VHS video tape and it works perfectly!
