Optimus 202 (16-642) was made for Radio Shack by Panasonic in Japan. It has the same build quality and picture quality as Panasonic-branded machines. It was Radio Shack's top of the line model in their 2000 catalog.

Includes a Philips Universal Remote which provides access to menu navigation, tape direction functions, search functions, and on-screen display. Also includes a new AV Cable and instruction sheet.
