Quasar was a value-priced sub-brand of Panasonic. Quasar VCRs have the same build quality and picture quality as Panasonic VCRs. The major difference was front-panel trim. Panasonic VCRs had a "Blue Line" on the front.

This VCR has very good picture quality. Includes a GE universal remote control with new batteries and a new AV cable.
