Quasar was value-priced sub-brand of Panasonic. Quasar VCRs have the same build quality and picture quality as Panasonic VCRs. The major difference was front-panel trim. Panasonic VCRs had a "Blue Line" on the front. This model VHQ660 was made in Japan in 1996 before they moved manufacturing to Indonesia.

This VCR has very good picture quality. Includes the original remote control with new batteries, AV cable, and a printed instruction manual. VHQ660 is functionally similar to Panasonic Model PV-4658 so the manual for that model with be included.
